The formal pictorial treatment given to these images removes the volume and colour of the original photographs, reducing them only to their structural lines to recreate, thus, the effect of etching (acqua-forte). Only a small detail in every image is spared. An original part becomes a foreigner element in the changed image. The contradiction between the lines and the original image spared in these details suggest the presence of something strange and suspicious or yet some change in course at the visual narrative. They indicate the eminence of a risk or a change, something missing or going to be missed. The images were created and edited during the quarantine months in 2020 and silently portray the anxious question of where human existence points to beyond the pandemics experience.
